Police announce new administrative changes

Maldives Police Service has announced administrative changes within the service.

According to the police, changes were brought within the high ranks of three departments: Training and Development, Professional Standard Command, and Central Policing Command.

The new head of the Training and Development Department will be Assistant Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen, who was previously the Head of Central Policing Command. The Central Policing Command will be headed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Ali Sujau, who was previously heading the Professional Standards Command. The former head of Training and Development, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Abdul Rahman will take charge of the Professional Standards Command.

The police said the administrative changes were brought as per its standard procedure for such changes.
