South East Asia's biggest floating waterpark in Siyam World Resort

South East Asia's biggest floating water park has been installed at Siyam World Resort opening next month.

Owned by prominent businessman and Meedhoo MP Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, Siyam World is situated in Dhigurah in Noonu atoll. According to Siyam World, the resort's floating water park has an area of 2,580 square meters and is the largest floating park in the Indian Ocean.

The park's course was designed by German SportsPark innovators Wibit Sports, a company that has 25 years of experience in developing waterpark concepts. An aerial view of the floating park spells out SIYAM in block letters. The course features springboards, a climbing tower, and several other obstacles such as slides, halfpipes, and a free-floating human catapult. The park will be open to all guests above the age of 6.

Located 40 minutes away from Velana International Airport (VIA) and 10 minutes away from Maafaru International Airport, the Siyam World five-star resort is stretched across a 54-hectare area. Opening on October 28, Siyam World will be one of the largest resorts in the Maldives and will be among the resorts with the most number of rooms. The island resort boasts a variety of 21 accommodation categories of one to six-bedroom villas, pavilions, and The Beach House Collection residences that span from 89 to 3,000 square meters.
