The "Collagen Queen" store on Majeedhee Magu was burglarized on Saturday.
The cosmetics shop was burglarized while the shop was closed for Maqrib prayers. The shop's owner told the media that MVR 50,000 was stolen from the shop. As the robbers had their faces uncovered, it was clearly recorded on CCTV cameras, he said.
Police confirmed that a case of burglary at the shop was reported to the authority. The police said an investigation is ongoing but did not state whether an arrest has been made.
