Former journalist Abdulla Naseer Ibrahim's remand has been extended by an additional three days.
Naseer was arrested under a court order on July 29 over allegations that he had homosexual relations. He was arrested after a video of him having sexual relations with another man was leaked on social media platforms.
Upon the expiry of his most recent remand period, Naseer was presented before the court on Tuesday to decide on his remand. The court extended Naseer's remand by three days and instructed to decide on his charges within the time frame.
