JP to hold National Conference in December

The Jumhooree Party (JP) has scheduled its National Assembly -- the National Conference-- for this December.

At JP's 146th Council Meeting, a seven-member ad hoc committee was established to form the party's island branches in accordance with its constitution in preparation for the party's National Conference. All well-wishers are welcome to form branches, the party said.

"All party members will have the opportunity to carry out this work. All members have the opportunity to travel to the islands, promote the party and empower the people," the party said.

The party has announced that it will contest the upcoming 2023 presidential election. Important decisions will be made in this regard at the party's National Conference.
