A Sri Lankan property developer has been awarded the contract to develop luxury apartment complexes in Hulhumale'.
Coral Property Developers was awarded the project for US$ 95 million (MVR 1.5 billion).
Sri Lanka's Daily News reported the complex will be branded as Y Coral Luxury Apartment and Mall. Coral Property Developer manages, develops and acquires commercial and residential real estates across greater Colombo. The complex will be four buildings linked by towers; each tower will have malls, sports areas and views of the whole of Hulhumale'.
Additional details of the project had not been revealed. Daily News reported that this was the biggest construction project ever to be awarded to a Sri Lankan company and the second largest after the Male' Hulhule' bridge.
