Health Protection Agency (HPA) has warned of actions against those who dispose of garbage on the roads and pavements.
A statement published by the Agency said of late the amount of garbage on the streets and pavements had increased. The statement said this posed a significant threat to public health and called to cease such activities.
The statement said the streets of Male' were designated as garbage free zone and as such, any individual who had acted against this will be penalized.
