Police have arrested three individuals from AA. Himandhoo on charges of obstructing Police duties, when the Police was implementing a Court order. The three were arrested this morning.
Police today said three were arrested and the operation was conducted successfully.
Police had arrived in the island on the 8th of this month to implement an order issued by Family Court to hand over custody of a child to the father. Police had left the island with the child.
Altercations between the father, his family and the Police had occurred during the operation. Police had been restricted from carrying out their duties. The father is currently under house arrest.
