Former Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem has been appointed as the Chancellor of Islamic University of the Maldives. He was serving as the Vice Chancellor of the University.
President's Office had confirmed the appointment, noting that Dr. Shaheem's predecessor Dr. Zahir Hussain had been transferred to the position of advisor at Islamic Ministry.
