New look for Maldives aviation security

The uniform for the Aviation Security Command has been renewed.

The old blue uniform will no longer be in use. Defense Minister Adam Shareef unveiled this new uniform Friday at an event held in the Champa Central Hotel.

The Minister said while speaking at this event that the uniform for aviation security was changed to its resemblance with other uniforms worn by members of government agencies.

"The current changes will face some of the problems we have been facing," the Minister said.

The Minister advised members of Aviation Security to do their jobs responsibly, and to be careful in the work environment.

The Aviation Security Command is currently in charge of maintaining security in 11 different airports.
