Customs has seized drugs on a Bangladeshi national, traveling from Dhaka to Maldives.
Customs said that the man was caught with drugs following a search of the man who arrived on Maldivian flight Q2 551 after the man exhibited suspicious behaviour.
Pills later tested to be amphetamine were found in the man's luggage.
Customs officials say that the total 1452 amphetamine pills seized weighed a total of 162 grams.
The man arrested in the crime and the drugs seized have been handed over to the police.
