The Islamic branch of Allied Insurance Ayady Takaful has introduced online "Hajj and Umrah Takaful" services in the Maldives.
Speaking at the press conference held on Tuesday, the company’s general manager Ibrahim Firushaan said that the company introduced their Hajj and Umrah Takaful package for online purchasing services, adding that the company is doing its level best to ensure that customers are able to purchase the products at their convenience.
Firushaan also revealed that companies such as Bank of Maldives, Maldives Islamic Bank and Ooredoo currently use their services.
"Hajj and Umrah Takaful" is a type of cover by Ayady Takaful that covers the medical expenses and financial losses that could arise while on the journey of Hajj or Umrah.
Ayady Takaful adapts the islamic concept of risk management system in Maldives. Takaful model is inherently in line with Islamic norms and principles. Allied Insurance Company as a socially responsible business is invested in this concept of solidarity and risk-sharing.
