Local telecom giant Dhiraagu has been once again assigned as the upcoming Maldivian Idol Season 3 Title Sponsor.
The agreement was signed between Dhiraagu and state media Public Service Media (PSM) on Wednesday morning.
At Dhiraagu head office the title sponsor agreement was signed between the corporation's Managing Director Ismail Rasheed and Managing Director of PSM, Ibrahim Khaleel.
Speaking at the ceremony held on Wednesday, Dhiraagu MD Rasheed said the telecom corporation had partnered up with PSM once again to support a social beneficiary cause. "Dhiraagu places high importance on youth oriented activities, and that is why we have partnered this year as well," Rasheed said.
Khaleel had praised Dhiraagu for their support and said such events would not become a success without their contribution.
With two seasons completed, Dhiraagu had been the title sponsor on both occasions while Avas Online had been the online media partner for the previous seasons. Main sponsors had included Allied Insurance, Lotus, State Trading Organization (STO) and national airline Maldivian for season two while Allora, Evo, Al Mudhish, Snickers, Simdi Group and Villa College had been co-sponsors.
