Opposition pres candidate affirms manifesto launch soon

Opposition coalition will launch the multi-party agreed upon campaign manifesto within the next few days according to MDP presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

Speaking with local media right after meeting with Male' City Council members, Solih noted meetings were taking place to discuss for a campaign manifesto including all mutually agreed factors by the mutli-party coalition.

Solih promised to address all vital issues and concerns by the public which has been voiced respectively by opposition parties.

The opposition presidential candidate had lambasted incumbent president Abdulla Yameen, accusing the latter of continuing an authoritative government.

Solih claims that president Yameen's administration had rendered a decentralized system useless.

The opposition coalition's candidate had further criticized president Yameen for suppressing the authorities of Male' City Council as well, claiming state issues a stringent budget to the authority which barely meets expenses of overhead.

Solih promised reinstating the City Council's powers in an opposition coalition run government.
