Assistant Prosecutor General of Maldives Aishath Fazna has resigned from her responsibilities on Wednesday.
Fazna has since confirmed her resignation to Avas Online stating she exited the office over personal reasons, without disclosing anything further.
She is one of the senior most state prosecutors active and is also in-charge of presenting state's case against nine individuals charged with terrorism related to February 1, 2018 coup attempt.
