Ambassadors from Laos, Sudan present credentials to Pres Solih

Ambassadors to Maldives from Laos and Sudan presented their credentials to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday.

Following successive welcoming ceremonies, President Solih met with Bounneme Chouanghom, Ambassador-designate of the People’s Republic of Laos, and Ahmed Yousif Mohamed Elsiddig, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Sudan.

During the separate meetings with the President, the bilateral relations between the countries were highlighted, and the ambassadors expressed interest in supporting areas of mutual benefit to both countries.
