Permanent Secretary of Home Ministry suspended

Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs Ibrahim Hameed has been suspended.

Hameed was suspended on Thursday following accusations of sexual harassment and misuse of his official position.

AVAS has learnt that allegations of misuse of authority are being investigated jointly by Home Ministry and the Civil Service Commission. Neither entity has commented on the reports thus far.
