A case is filed against the parents of the 13-year old minor who was married outside the court, got impregnated and delivered.
The Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has said that they have requested the Criminal Court to prosecute the parents of the 13-year old minor who got married outside the court, was impregnated and delivered.
The PGO said that four accusations were made against one of the parents and one accusation against the other parent.
The Police have arrested the parents of the 13-year old on the 10th of December who neglected the fundamental rights of the children by not sending them to schools and not giving vaccines. The family believes in the extremist ideology in the name of religion.
The government has taken guardianship of the family’s 6 children for safekeeping. The man who wedded the minor in the name of marriage impregnated her and she delivered recently.
The Police have arrested the accused Ismail Hammaadh from R.Maduvvari on 29th November 2019 who abused the minor in the name of marriage. The case is filed against him in Criminal Court on 25th December. He was accused of raping the girl. If the case is proven he will be imprisoned for a long duration.
