Three resorts of Anantara Group sold for US$ 43 mln

Three local resorts operated by Anatara Maldives have been sold for US$ 43 million.

Anantara Resorts are managed by Maina International. The company's financial records show their three resorts in the Maldives have been sold. They are Anantara Veli Maldives, Veligandu Island Resort and Naladhoo Maldives Private island. K. Boduhuraa, used to house resort employees, was also sold. All four islands are situated within the same lagoon.

Resorts opened in the Maldives are frequently sold. Usually, resorts are sold after seven years in operation.
