Education Ministry reveals thus far no decision made to postpone May/June exam

Education Ministry has said that a decision has not been made to postpone the May/June examination to be held in the Maldives.

The Ministry said that stating UK schools have been closed and the May/June examination to be held in summer has been canceled. The Maldivian students sit for Cambridge IGCSE ordinary and advance level examinations.

The ministry further said the examination bodies of the UK that provide the examination for other countries have not decided on international exams. Therefore, the Ministry has not yet decided to postpone the May/June examination.

Due to the fear of CIVID-19 that is escalating across the globe, the UK has closed its schools and postponed May/June examinations including GCSE ordinary level and advice level.
