Indian Air Force delivers STO's medical shipment

India has delivered a shipment of 6.2 tons’ medical supplies, other medical consumables and tools to State Trading Organization (STO). The shipment was brought to the Maldives via Indian Air Force’s (AIF) Aircraft.

The High Commission of India in the Maldives Thursday said the shipment was a medical shipment that STO had purchased from seven suppliers of India. However, they were unable to deliver the shipment due to 21-day lockdown in India to contain COVID-19 pandemic.
