Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for proposals under its “Aharenge Bank” Community Fund.
According to BML, the best five proposals submitted will be selected during the first quarter of the year. Similar to previous years, a total of 20 projects will be funded during this year. Selected projects in the areas of education, environment, sports and community engagement will receive MVR 50,000 to implement their project.
BML has instructed applicants to submit the Proposal & Application Form and other relevant documents before 6th March 2021.
Community Fund is a program to empower individuals and NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. As of today, the Bank has provided financial assistance for projects in 40 islands across the country under Community Fund.
