A young man who went diving in R. Ungoofaaru has passed away.
Maldives Police Service said they received reports that a man had drowned while diving in Ungoofaaru this evening. The 25-year-old man identified as Mimrah had already passed away by the time he was taken to the Ungoofaaru Hospital, the police said.
The police said they are investigating the incident.
