A speed boat anchored in the Male' swimming track area caught on fire early Thursday morning.
The incident was reported to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) at 12:42 am. Firefighters from the MNDF Fire and Rescue Service promptly extinguished the blaze by 12:56 am.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
