A dead body was discovered floating in the sea near Koddhipparu Resort in Male' atoll.
The police received reports of the discovery of a dead body around 6.35pm on Tuesday evening. It is believed that the body is of a man.
The body was already rotting when it was found.
No further information regarding the body is known, and the police are investigating the case further.
