Aspiring footballer found dead in capital Male'

Young footballer who played for numerous first division football teams was discovered dead on Sunday morning.

Ibrahim 'Bagey' Rizwan was found in a home in Macchangolhi ward early morning around 6.25 am. He was taken to IGMH where he was pronounced dead.

The police said they are investigating the death.

Rizwan played for Valencia during the last season. He also played for Victory Sports Club, All Youth Linkage (AYL) and TC Sports Club in the past.
