A Maldivian pass away while on a trip to collect sands.
The police said that a man was taken to the Health Centre of R. Maduvvari, who went to collect sands in a dhoani.
The police further said the doctors pronounced him dead when he was taken to the hospital - there was nothing suspicious about his death.
The deceased was a 52-year-old man
The police have not revealed the reason for the incident. It is not cleared if the man died while in the dhoani or while diving to collect sands.
