As part of its strategy to expand banking services to support local communities, Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened new Self Service Banking ATM Centres in two islands of Kaafu Atoll.
According to the bank, the ATM centres located in Himmafushi and Dhiffushi will support individuals and businesses to withdraw, deposit and transfer money on a 24/7 basis.
BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Tim Sawyer said the bank is delighted to support the people, businesses and economy of the two islands with the investments as part of its financial inclusion strategy. With the new ATMs, the atoll now has ATM services in 6 islands in addition to branch services in both Maafushi and Kaashidhoo.”
With a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 73 Self Service Banking Centres, 134 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services, Bank of Maldives is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across the Maldives.
