Authorities have detained foreign fishing vessels that were trespassing on Maldivian water.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said two vessels fishing in the Maldives' Exclusive Economic Zone were detained on September 11 and September 13. The police acknowledged assistance received from a local fishing vessel in detaining the two foreign vessels.
