Vice President Faisal Naseem, on Tuesday called on Md. Abdul Hamid, the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as part of his current three-day official visit to Bangladesh. The call took place at the Bangladeshi Presidential Palace, Bangabhaban.
At the meeting, the Vice President and the President discussed areas of mutual cooperation and conversed on avenues to further improve relations between the two countries.
Following the call, the Vice President arrived at Hotel Intercontinental, Dhaka, and met with Maldivian students residing in the country.
The Vice President is accompanied on this trip by a delegation of cabinet ministers and high-level officials from the President's Office and the government.
