The President’s Office on Monday opened applications for the vacant post of a member at the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
A vacancy opened up when commission member Ahmed Shakeel resigned on December 16.
Those interested in applying for ACC membership must submit their applications at the President’s Office from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on December 29 and 30, 2021. Application forms are available from the reception of the President’s Office and on the official website of the President’s Office.
Earlier on December 2, commission member Ali Ashraf resigned from the commission. Both Shakeel and Ashraf resigned when ACC members' dismissal was sought from the Parliament. Three members remain on the commission- the President of the commission Mariyam Shiuna, Deputy President Fathimath Anoola, and member Aishath Abdulla.
