The state utility company STELCO's Chairman Mohamed Rasheed has passed away.
STELCO has confirmed his death but did not provide details on the cause of death.
Mohamed Rasheed first joined STELCO in 1971 as an apprentice. He has served in different positions of STELCO over the past 50 years, including the position of engineer, deputy director managerial, executive director, assistant managing director, deputy managing director, and CEO. He was assigned to the company's board as its Chairman on February 12, 2019.
