The national bank, Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the first phase of the year. The Community Fund is open for individuals and registered NGOs to access funds up to MVR 50,000 to implements local projects in the areas of education, environment, sports and community development. Similar to previous years, a total of 20 projects will be funded during this year.
The bank said applicants can send proposals with supporting documents to the designated email address before 11:59pm on 27th February 2022.
The Community Fund is a program to empower individuals and NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. As of today, the Bank has provided financial assistance for 60 projects across the country through this Fund.
