BML opens self-service banking ATM centre in L. Maamendhoo

National bank, Bank of Maldives (BML) has continued to scale up its presence in Laamu atoll with the introduction of a new Self -Service Banking ATM Centre in Maamendhoo.

In addition to the cash withdrawal facilities, the new Centre will support individuals and businesses to deposit and transfer money on a 24/7 basis.

Laamu Atoll also has a branch and Self-Service Banking in Fonadhoo and Gan as well as a Self-Service Banking ATM Centre in Maavah.

BML’s CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer said the Bank would continue to invest in expanding banking services to islands across the Maldives as part of its financial inclusion strategy. The centre in Maamendhoo will benefit individuals and businesses in the community and ensure convenient and accessible banking services without the need to travel to a nearby branch, he said.

With a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 78 Self-Service Banking Centres, 136 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services, Bank of Maldives is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
