The Court on Saturday remanded nine individuals arrested at the opposition's 'India Out' rally to custody.
Maldives Police Service said out of the seventeen individuals arrested at Friday's rally, eight have been released under conditions - six under conditions. Those released under conditions include Guraidhoo MP Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon and Maavashu MP Mohamed Saeed. They have been asked to inform of any changes to their residential address and phone numbers and have been conditioned to cooperate with the investigation.
Nine people remain in custody, with three remanded for three days. Two were remanded for seven days, and four for two days.
