Aminath Shifana has been appointed as Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The President's Office said Aminath Shifana was appointed as the Additional Secretary of Foreign Affairs by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
Prior to her appointment, Shifana served as Permanent Secretary of Foreign Affairs. She was appointed to the post on January 20, 2020. She has also served as a Permanent Secretary at the Gender Ministry and has held other senior positions at government agencies.
Shifana holds a Master of Management from the International Islamic University of Malaysia.
