A Maldivian national residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has passed away in a sudden death.
The man, identified as Miusam Mohamed Saleem, 40, from GDh. Thinadhoo passed away after suffering a heart attack.
Miusam used to work as the Communications Director at the Ministry of Higher Education before moving to UAE with his family a year ago. The family relocated to UAE after Miusam's wife was hired as a teacher in a UAE school. After moving to Dubai, Miusam worked at Fujairah airport, according to some relatives.
Miusum is survived by his wife and a 12-year-old daughter.
