Kazakhstan begins issuing on-arrival visa to Maldivians

Kazakhstan has started issuing on-arrival visas to Maldivian travelers.

Thirty-day on-arrival visas have been issued to Maldivians since last Wednesday. The arrangement came into effect under an agreement between the governments of Maldives and Khakazhstan signed last May.

Despite the new visa service, the Maldives Foreign Ministry advises travelers to obtain a visa in advance before traveling to Kazakhstan if traveling for a period longer than 30 days.

The Maldivian passport is the most powerful passport of all South Asian countries.
