Avani Fares Maldives Resort, developed at B. Fares, is set to open this April.
The resort's construction was awarded in 2017 for US$ 7 million. Although the work reached completion in 2019, its opening was delayed due to the global economic downturn amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Developed by Thailand's Maina Hotels and Cypria Group for US$ 7 million, the Avani Fares resort will have 176 beds. The 12.4-hectare island, which is part of the biosphere reserve, was formerly used for agriculture.
