Maldivian prepares to relaunch flights to Dharavandhoo airport

Maldivian, the national airline, is gearing up to recommence its flights to Baa Dharavandhoo Airport.

The airline suspended flights to Dharavandhoo in 2019 after private airline Manta Air launched flights to the same destination.

Island Aviation Services Limited (IAS), which operates Maldivian, announced on Sunday that it will resume flights to Dharavandhoo from June 15. IAS is set to operate one daily flight to the airport, and tickets are available for purchase.

IAS added three ATR aircraft to its fleet last year to expand its domestic flights. Maldivian currently boasts a fleet of 14 aircraft.
