Police bust human trafficking network, 13 arrested

Police arrest 13 individuals in crackdown on a human trafficking network in Male' City.

The operation, led by the Anti-Human Trafficking Department, Intelligence, and Immigration, targeted a large-scale prostitution business based on intelligence received. Raiding four locations in Male' City, Law enforcement detained eight Bangladeshi men, a Bangladeshi woman, and four Thai women. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
