Thulusdhoo constituency MP Ibrahim Naseem has joined the Peoples' National Congress (PNC). Prior to this affiliation, MP Nasheed served as an independent member of Parliament, remaining unaligned with any political party.
Naseem's membership form was personally received by PNC's Chairperson, Abdul Raheem Abdulla. With this addition, PNC representation in the parliament has increased to four, contributing to a total of eight members for the Progressive Coalition formed by the PPM and PNC.
