Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, on Saturday evening, on an official visit to participate in the High-Level event commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Human Rights 75). The event is scheduled to take place in Geneva from December 11 to December 12, 2023.
The Vice President is slated to join the Opening Ceremony Panel Discussion on Human Rights of the Human Rights 75 High-Level Event convened by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, co-hosted by the Government of Switzerland. He will also attend the Roundtable on The Future of Human Rights, Environment and Climate of the Human Rights 75 High-Level Event and hold meetings with dignitaries from other countries and Heads of UN Agencies.
The Vice President arrived in Geneva after concluding an official visit to the People’s Republic of China to attend the ‘China-Indian Ocean Region Forum on Development Cooperation’.
