Bank of Maldives (BML) has recognized employees for showcasing exceptional performance at the ‘Employee Star Awards’. Awards to 20 employees were handed over by CEO and Managing Director Karl Stumke.
Employees are nominated and selected for the monthly award for their excellent contribution to the Bank and wider community, demonstrating exceptional performance and behavior, as well as outstanding achievement in academic, sports, or extracurricular activities.
BML's CEO and Managing Director Karl Stumke said the Employee Star Awards gives the Bank the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the dynamic employees at the Bank who touch the lives of its customers and community through their commitment, excellence, and diligence. The regular award is a driving force to motivate the Bank's employees to excel in their day-to-day work, he said.
The Employee Star Awards was introduced in 2017 as part of its efforts to recognize top-performing staff. In addition to this, the Bank hosts an annual Staff Awards to honor its top-performing staff and the Long Service Awards to recognize employees’ loyal service.
