The reconstruction of Ameenee Magu in Male' City has reached completion, and the entire 1.7km stretch of the road has been opened for public use.
The previous government awarded the contract to the RDC on July 3, 2022, for MVR 84 million to carry out Ameenee Magu reconstruction. While seven months were allocated for the work, the project faced delays and the the work could not completed within the timeframe.
Work on the final segments of the road, segments 12 and 13, began on December 9. The final segments are wider than the previous segments.
