President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to depart to the UAE on an official visit this Sunday.
It is reported that President Dr. Muizzu is expected to sign several agreements between the UAE and the Maldives during his visit. However, the government has not yet announced the details.
This visit marks President Muizzu's fourth official trip abroad since assuming office in November 2023 and his second visit to the UAE. His previous visit to the country was to participate in the COP28 summit.
