President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the 'Rayyithunge Adu' portal, which allows people to directly voice their concerns and share their feedback with the President. The portal was inaugurated at the 'Ahaa' forum held at Sultan Park on Friday night.
The initiative aligns with the President's policy to listen and work closely with the people. The President previously announced the 'Rayithunge Adu' portal while delivering his Presidential Address on February 5.
During the inauguration of the 'Rayyithuge Adu' portal, the President emphasised the importance of working closely with the people while serving them. He stated his commitment to establishing a transparent and accountable government, free from ambiguity. He implored citizens to utilise the portal and promised that the Administration would strive to achieve its objectives.
The President has prioritised seeking public opinion and keeping up with the people and introduced various initiatives to better connect with the public. Within the first three months of his presidency, President Dr Muizzu began to visit all the atolls. The President additionally started answering questions from the public via the video series 'Raees ge Javaabu'.
The President has also pledged to hold general forums every two months where Ministers participate, called the 'Ahaa' series, and to conduct forums every three months where he meets the people directly and answers their questions.
