The Maldives Civil Aviation Authority has reported that a seaplane sustained damage to its right float while attempting to land.
The incident took place on Sunday at around 3:20 pm, with 11 passengers and three crew on board. The accident occurred when the seaplane attempted to land at Westin Maldives Miriyandhoo in Baa atoll after arriving from Seaside Finolhu Resort of the same atoll.
The Civil Aviation Authority said no casualties were reported in the incident.
"The incident is currently being investigated by the Civil Aviation Authority," the authority said.
