Bank of Maldives (BML) on Monday introduced its USD ATM service in K. Maafushi.
The new ATM installed at Maafushi Branch will support individuals and businesses to withdraw and deposit USD conveniently. It is the first USD ATM outside Male’ City and adds to the existing ATM network in Male’, Hulhumale’ and Velana International Airport.
BML’s Director of Retail, Business, and SME Banking Moosa Nimal said the bank was delighted to cater to the growing need for USD deposits and withdrawals in Maafushi by introducing the USD ATM. The Maafushi economy is thriving and as the nation’s biggest bank, BML is committed to supporting individuals and businesses with 24/7 banking, he said.
BML recently announced the expansion of services at its Maafushi Branch to offer a full range of banking solutions and services. Maafushi Branch now operates as a full-fledged branch offering all services including USD deposits and withdrawals, loans and financing applications, cheque deposits, issuing statements as well as currency exchange.
The launch of USD ATM services in guest house island Maafushi is a presidential pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
