Met Office forecasts sea swells in Maldives’ southern region

The Maldives Meteorological Service (Met Office) has forecast sea swells in the southern parts of the country today.

According to the Met Office, sea swells are expected in some southern areas during high tide. Meanwhile, the northern regions are likely to experience showers and thundershowers.

The Met Office said the weather will be generally better in the good in the central and southern parts of the country despite expected showers.

The Met Office forecasts to range between 5 and 15 mph in the northern and central atolls, and between 3 and 10 mph in the southern atolls. Overall, seas are expectedly to be moderately calm across the country.
